The three most famous studies of cock size are the Dr. Kinsey study of 1948, the Durex Study and the Lifestyles Study of 2001.

The first two studies found that the average erection was between 6.2” and 6.4”. However, in both studies, the researchers let the men measure themselves. But what do the ladies prefer? The Huffington Post featured a Penis Size Preference Chart to see what women really want. The chart shows that on the average, women feel that 5 inches to 11inches in length and 4.75” to 7.25” in girth can be enjoyable, but not ideal. These women feel  7.25” to 8.25” is the perfect length, and  6.25” to 6.5”  is the perfect girth.

Why is the average cock size so different than the “ideal cock” women in the Huffington Post’s chart said they fantasize about? Is it perhaps because they have become used to seeing large cocks in porn? Maybe it’s because of all the large sex toys they’ve come accustomed to. But then again, maybe those toys were created to fill the void the average cock wasn’t filling.

Then again, this supposed “ideal cock” range is based on averages as well, so clearly there are outliers of all ranges. In other words, the perfect cock depends on the girl.

I for one tend to like a little on the smaller side, when a lot of girls I know believe bigger is better all the way. Maybe there isn’t any one size fits all amazing penis size to compare oneself to. Maybe it’s just about finding the perfect match.
