Prom The Pick-up Artist to dating coaches, there seems to be plenty of men telling other men how to “pick up chicks.” The thing I am not finding is someone telling these men how to pick up the right chick for them.

Pick up lines and cheep game tactics are great if you are after the one-night stand, but what about when you want to meet someone you’ll keep around in the morning?

Jack Rockwell, author of Dating Savant Playbook says that men need to “act un-needy.” He says, “Try pretending like you don’t care… and act like you could be doing something better.”
Really? To any woman with self-esteem, this game will not fly.

My suggestion is: How about instead of “acting” like anything, you just be yourself. Honestly, being yourself may not attract the masses. However, it will attract the one that is right for you.

Why be someone you’re not? It’s impossible to keep up a façade for too long, and in the end both of you will be disappointed.

I think most the lessons on how to have “game” are silly. Most women I know appreciate honesty, and seeing that shine through a crowd of fakes can be refreshing.
